We finally made it on the road in the middle of another horrible New England ice storm. We left Plainfield around 8 PM and picked up Corky right off of interstate 81 near Carlisle, PA around 4 AM. Ray did some impressive driving during the storm. As you can see from the photos, Primetime is a genius van that travels 5 people and a dog no problem. Our one problem however, was a horrible gas/exhaust smell that we huffed all the way down to Atlanta. Not a good way to start the trip. I think we all lost millions of brain cells, but hopefully no major damage to report. We were all pretty haggard when we hit the GA Line to say the least.
We finally arrived in Atlanta and the warm weather and easy living has been graciously received. The Aranson's have been amazing hosts and it has been really great to meet Jenny's family and see the land where she comes from. Today we organized primetime and bought a net that we installed in the top to hold surf boards, and other random stuff. We are headed to Tucson in the morning and then south to Mexico after that.
Hey all. Jenny Aranson its your sister in law and your brother saying hi. Happy to know youre safe so far, keep that up.
